This role ensures compliance with legal requirements, develops and implements internal standards, and conducts risk assessments to safeguard employee safety and maintain equipment reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage safety for construction projectsDevelop, maintain, and improve safety standards for electrical equipment and systemsConduct electrical safety risk assessments and drive corrective actionsEnsure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Occupational Safety and Health Act, Electrical Business Act)Perform on-site safety audits, inspections, and analyze incidents/near-misses to establish preventive measuresPlan and deliver electrical safety education and training for employeesParticipate in safety evaluations and approval processes for new equipment installationsAlign with global EHS standards and collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience in electrical safety management (preferably in manufacturing, plant, or industrial settings)Knowledge of occupational safety and health laws and electrical regulationsPractical experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective actionsStrong communication and teamwork skills(Preferred) Licensed Electrical Chief Engineer, EHS-related certifications (e.g., ISO45001 Internal Auditor)Desired AttributesProactive in fostering a strong safety cultureExcellent problem-solving and improvement proposal skills, with ability to work closely with field teamsStrong analytical thinking and project management skills, able to work independentlyInterest in global standards and emerging technologies, with a commitment to continuous learningAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
