Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.(English follows after Japanese)職務概要当社の環境・安全・衛生(EHS)部門において、生産装置に関する安全管理全般を担当します。装置の設計・導入・改造・保守・運転に伴う安全リスクを適切に管理し、法令および社内安全基準の遵守を通じて、労働災害の防止と安全な生産環境の確保を推進する役割です。主な業務内容生産装置に関する安全基準・手順の策定、維持、改善装置の新規導入、改造、移設、撤去時における安全レビューおよびリスクアセスメント労働安全衛生法、機械安全・電気安全関連法令および社内EHS基準に基づくコンプライアンス対応エネルギー遮断(LOTO)、電気作業、可動部・インターロック等の装置安全管理装置起因の事故・ヒヤリハットの調査、原因分析および再発防止策の立案装置メーカー、設備エンジニア、製造部門との連携による安全対策の検討・実装生産装置に関する安全作業手順書(SOP)のレビューおよび運用支援装置作業に関わる従業員・請負業者への安全教育・トレーニングの企画・実施グローバルEHS安全基準および関連国際規格との整合性確保、社内外ステークホルダーとの連携応募資格機械工学、電気・電子工学、安全工学、または関連分野の学士以上または上記分野以外の学士であっても、実務で同等と見なせる知識や経験がある方日本語能力として、JLPT N3 以上を必須とし、N2 以上の資格保持者を歓迎します労働安全衛生法、機械安全、電気安全に関する基礎知識製造業における生産装置・設備の安全管理またはエンジニアリング経験リスクアセスメント、装置安全レビュー、事故調査の実務経験(歓迎) 安全管理者、衛生管理者機械安全・電気安全関連資格ISO45001 内部監査員、EHS関連資格求める人物像装置構造や作業実態を理解し、実効性のある安全対策を推進できる方設備・製造・EHS 関係者と連携しながら、安全性と生産性の両立を図れる方分析的思考力を持ち、リスクを論理的に整理・判断できる方グローバル基準や最新の装置安全技術に関心を持ち、継続的に学べる方英語による簡単なコミュニケーションができる方コミュニケーション能力が高く、チームでの協働力がある方Job SummaryThe EHS Safety Engineer is responsible for overall safety management related to production equipment within the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) organization.This role manages safety risks associated with the design, installation, modification, maintenance, and operation of production equipment, and promotes the prevention of occupational injuries and the establishment of a safe production environment through compliance with applicable laws and internal safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and improve safety standards and procedures related to production equipmentConduct safety reviews and risk assessments for new equipment installation, modification, relocation, and decommissioningEnsure compliance with the Industrial Safety and Health Act, machinery safety and electrical safety regulations, and internal EHS standardsManage equipment safety measures, including energy isolation (LOTO), electrical work, moving parts, and interlock systemsInvestigate equipment-related accidents and near-miss incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop preventive measuresCollaborate with equipment manufacturers, facilities engineers, and manufacturing teams to evaluate and implement safety controlsReview and support the implementation of safety work procedures (SOPs) related to production equipmentPlan and deliver safety education and training for employees and contractors involved in equipment-related workEnsure alignment with global EHS safety standards and relevant international standards, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related fieldor a bachelor’s degree in another discipline with equivalent knowledge and experience acquired through practical workJapanese language proficiency of JLPT N3 or higher is required; JLPT N2 or higher is preferredBasic knowledge of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, machinery safety, and electrical safetyExperience in safety management or engineering related to production equipment in a manufacturing environmentPractical experience in risk assessment, equipment safety reviews, and accident investigationsPreferred qualifications: Safety Manager or Industrial Safety and Health OfficerMachinery safety or electrical safety-related certificationsISO 45001 Internal Auditor or other EHS-related certificationsDesired AttributesAbility to understand equipment design and actual work practices, and drive practical and effective safety measuresAbility to balance safety and productivity through collaboration with equipment, manufacturing, and EHS stakeholdersStrong analytical skills to logically assess risks and make sound safety-related decisionsStrong interest in global standards and emerging equipment safety technologies, with a commitment to continuous learningAbility to communicate at a basic level in EnglishStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
