Determine best match by researching against current job library and other third party survey benchmark jobsIdentify justification if a new job is needed (business, geographic, regulatory, population size)Determine recommended actions and follow-up with customersBuild new job and update all reference materialEnsure Regulatory ComplianceKeep up to date on the understanding of regulations and potential changesConsult with internal and external authoritiesIdentify liabilities, recommend and implement solutionsImplement, communicate, and maintain ongoing compliance processes where applicableEstablish and Maintain Pay RangesSubmit and collect data through third party market surveysEvaluate job matches to market for validity and analyze dataMake recommendations for change to ranges based on comp philosophy and strategyConsult with Executives and business partner to validate rangesPerform continued evaluationProduce and Analyze Compensation & Benefits ReportsAssess needs, design, generate, maintain and distribute reports as needed to key customers and partnersAnalyze, interpret and present results to appropriate partnersComplete modeling scenarios, develop recommendations and generate evaluation summaries based on dataMaintain Compensation & Benefits Data and SystemsReceive, evaluate, process and audit data change request and resultsUpdate, troubleshoot and resolve system errors as neededPerform detailed global system testingEnsure data integrity in existing systemsRaise issues to appropriate party(s) and validate issue resolutionProjectsParticipate on project teams as a representative of the Total Rewards team and act as a Japan subject matter authority to provide counsel, advice and supportSkills and RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related fieldStrong AI related skills with knowledge on AI utilization and application to job role including use of agentic AI and other modelsMust have advanced Microsoft Excel SkillsPowerPoint and Word proficiencyAbility to analyze data, identify data quality issues, and provide solutions or approaches to solve data problems with fair amount of knowledge in statistical methods.Very strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese & EnglishExcellent interpersonal and time management skillsMinimum 8 years of Compensation & Benefits experience in reputed tech companies in JapanPreferredCCP or GRP designationAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
