YS Field Service Engineer

Job Summary (Field Service Engineer – YieldStar)This position is a customer support role responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ASML YieldStar systems. The role primarily involves on-site field service, including troubleshooting and performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. With a considerable level of autonomy, the engineer works independently or as part of a team to diagnose and resolve issues, escalating to central support when necessary.In addition, the role involves providing customer training on system operation and maintenance, as well as proposing improvements. This position requires daily use of both Japanese and English and offers the opportunity to work in an international environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, diagnose, and resolve system issuesPerform repairs, parts replacement, and maintenance tasksProvide customer training on operation and maintenanceDocument, report, and escalate technical issuesPropose improvements and share technical knowledgeSupport and mentor less experienced engineersThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
