ISCS・IPRM の起源と CSW の開催地履歴
ISCS は1966年の International Symposium on GaAs を起点とし、1970年と1994年の2回の改称を経て現在の名称になりました。IPRM は1989年の米国オクラホマ州ノーマンでの開催が初回です。CSW としての開催地一覧は公式ページでは2016年の富山以降のみが掲載されており、それ以前の ISCS・IPRM 個別の開催履歴は同ページには載っていません。

公式サイトが公表していない項目がいくつもあります。採択率・投稿件数・採択件数・参加者数はどのページにも数値がなく、single-blind / double-blind といった査読方式や査読者数の記載もありません。camera-ready（最終原稿提出）という工程自体が掲載されておらず、proceedings 冊子の刊行や IEEE Xplore など特定データベースへの収録の案内もありません。口頭発表の持ち時間とポスターサイズは Presentation Guideline の HTML 本文にはなく PDF 側にのみ置かれ、program subcommittee の委員数の合計も集計値としては示されていません。CSW2027 については開催地・会期・事務局だけが公表され、投稿締切・スコープ・委員会はトップページ本文に出ていません。加えて、締切とスコープのカテゴリ名称は公式サイト内でもページによって表記が異なるため、実務では該当年のページを直接確認してください。

CSW はいつ、どこで開催されますか。
2026 サイクルは2026年5月24〜28日に熊本城ホール（熊本県熊本市中央区桜町3-40）で開催され、本稿の確認時点ではすでに会期を終えています。次サイクルの CSW2027 は2027年6月15〜18日、イタリアの VENICE LIDO で開催されると公表されています。開催頻度について CSW2025 公式サイトは「Taking place annually」と記載しています。
投稿締切はいつですか。
2026 サイクルの 1st Call for Papers PDF には「Deadline for abstract submission: January 16, 2026」と印字されています。一方 Abstract Submission ページの締切行は「Deadline for abstract submission: January 16, 2026 January 30, 2026, 23:59 (JST)」と2つの日付を並記しており、どちらが有効かを説明する文言や「extended」といった語はページ上にありません。Late News は April 19, 2026 が締切です。CSW2027 の締切は csw2027.com のトップページ本文には掲載されていないため、投稿を検討する場合は同サイトの更新を確認してください。
