沿革

ISSCC の起点は 1954 年 2 月の Philadelphia 開催で、IEEE SSCS の Conferences ページが「The Society's flagship conference since 1954」と明記し、公式 press kit 収録の解説記事「The Origins of the Conference」が初回の運営体制・参加者 601 名・登壇 6 組織まで具体的に記録している。名称は 1954 年時点で The Transistor Conference / Conference on Transistor Circuits / National Conference on Transistor Circuits 等に揺れており、"International" が加わったのは 1960 年だと同記事が書いている。開催地は最初の 25 年が Philadelphia 固定、1978 年に初めて San Francisco で開催、その後約 10 年の東西交互期を経て 1990 年に San Francisco が恒久開催地になった。1954 年以前・2009 年以前の年次データを自分で辿る場合、公式サイトの Past Conferences は 2009 年分までしか並んでいないため、isscc-history ページの 50th / 60th / 70th Anniversary Supplement の各 PDF に当たる必要がある。

最大の落とし穴はサイクル年の混在で、ISSCC 公式サイトは URL スラッグを更新せずに中身だけ差し替える運用のため、/call-for-papers-overview-26 に ISSCC 2027 の CFP（投稿締切 2026年9月9日、会期 2027年2月14〜18日）が載り、/isscc-2024-exhibition が現行サイクルの Exhibition ページになっている。数値を引くときは、ISSCC 2026 Press Kit が「DRAFT 11-25-2025」で「The material presented here is preliminary. As of November 5, 2025, there is not enough information to guarantee its correctness.」という免責を冒頭に置いている点、参加者数 2800 が実績ではなく「expected」である点を必ず添える。投稿数 1025 件・採択論文 265 件・37セッションは press kit に書かれているが、採択率（%）という形の公表値は今回開いた公式ページのいずれにも存在しないため、割り算で作らないこと。将来会期は future-conferences ページに 2026〜2032 の日付だけが並び都市・会場の記載がない一方、CFP ページには ISSCC 2027 の会場として San Francisco Marriott Marquis が出ており、情報の粒度がページごとに違う。
